Therefore, it is necessary for product owners or managers to have a tool to assist them in prioritizing the product backlog more efficiently with multiple inputs from stakeholders and determining which input is more reliable. Many prioritizing techniques and models both from literature and in practice have been reviewed in this study, yet most techniques that use stakeholders' opinions have not analyzed stakeholder profiles and feedback in their projects. This thesis proposes a dynamic weight prioritization model based on stakeholder profiles and feedback. The model uses each stakeholder’s reliability as a weight for his vote or inputs. Also, each stakeholder's reliability is decided based on his profile and adjusted periodically based on the difference between his inputs at the beginning of each iteration and all stakeholders' feedback at the end of the same iteration. In this way, each stakeholder’s voting history objectively reflects his trustworthiness. Moreover, in this thesis project, a prototype of the prioritization tool was built on realizing this model and support product owners or managers in backlog prioritization |
