dc.description.abstract | This work used the genetic algorithm optimization to optimize the terminal condition which plays a vital role in adjusting the gain of the sliding mode controller associated with the objective function of the Bolza-Meyer criterion. After formulating optimal controllers for control systems of polynomial time-varying, an example was simulated to validate some benefits of the proposed approach. It is shown that the final state values of the proposed optimal control law are less than those obtained from comparative optimal controllers whereas the cost of calculation is approximately equivalent. The dominance of final state value before sliding on manifold was thought quite appropriate to reduce initial amplitude which directly affects in chattering phenomenon | en_US |
