Title: | Application of deep learning in FMRI image decomposition | Authors: | Nguyen Dung Nhan | Keywords: | Deep learning;FMRI Image;Application | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | An imaging approach called functional magnetic resonance imaging can generate realtime brain images. The foundation of it is the monitoring of fluctuations in blood flow and oxygenation levels in response to neural activity, allowing researchers to gain insight into the neurobiological mechanisms beneath multiple cognitive and behavioral activities. One of the most significant fMRI tasks is the examination of the brain functional network. Brain functional networks are clusters of interconnected areas of the brain that are active while we perform cognitive or behavioral tasks such as paying attention, speaking, or controlling emotions. The breakdown of these networks offers vital insights into the neural circuits that underpin various brain processes and how they are altered by various neurological and mental diseases. Particularly in the field of neurology, fMRI has been employed to determine the particular brain regions in charge of various forms of motor and cognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson disease, as well as multiple sclerosis. |
