Recognizing the increasing importance of streamlined transit systems in educational institutions, this research endeavors to enhance the mobility experience for students, faculty, and staff. The primary objective of this study includes the development of a back-end server and database that provides ticket booking, searches for suitable schedules, and manages the system. Utilizing contemporary technologies such as Spring Boot and MySQL, the system aims to address common challenges faced by the university bus system, such as uncertain wait times, inefficient ticket booking, and system management. This thesis contributes to campus transportation by providing a practical solution to improve shuttle bus services. The developed application not only meets the immediate needs of the university community but also offers a scalable model for future features that optimize VGU’s bus system |
