For The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into force on May 24, 2016 and is applicable as of May 25, 2018, protecting natural individuals with regard to the handling of personal information and the free movement of such information. The General Data Protection Regulation has a significant impact and will undoubtedly affect Vietnam's IT industry. Any organization interacting with or conducting business with EU citizens must comply with the GDPR.
