dc.description.abstract | The web transport system is critical in web manufacturing since it enables for mass production of a variety of web products. A common use in a web transport system is the nip roll system, which is used to control tension on the web and move it through the subprocesses of the web process. Since the last of 20th century, the development in nip roll system is getting more vigorous. There are some leading companies in USA are currently developing and optimizing nip roll systems, they are CAC (Converter Accessory Corporation), Glue Machinery Corporation, Double E Company LLC,...
